this viennes photographer caught my attention with her series ratline.
according to ms. schula
"My work is about the resonance of the post war era. The images are set in a distant past, somewhere in the late 1970s, a time when there was a lot of media coverage about Nazis in hiding."
i just love the fact that while these images were shot now and in the present, they have this quality to them which excise any signs of the present and in fact look as tho they were shot 30-40 years ago. thats something i'd love to bring to my work.
